Name: Alan Schwartz
Gender: Male
Age: 36
Height: 5'11"
Race: Human (European)
Skills: hand-to-hand combat, gunfighting (though hasn't used a gun in a LONG time)
Abilities: Good leader, pretty good at finding stuff and calculating how to perform an operation.
Items/possesions: worn-down rope, unloaded handgun (which the most he can do is throw it; in fact, the thing is broken from being thrown so much), a short chain and some hooks for climbing, and a radiation detector.
Appearance: messy blonde hair (which he tries to keep neat, but often fails), green eyes, fair complexion. Usually wears his army uniform (which is torn and sewn back in several places), more than his civilian clothes.
Background: Born and raised in what was once Geneva, Switzerland; he was the rebellious one of four children. His family grew strict with him. Some of the members of the small colony they were in helped out as well with disciplining Alan, wanting to teach him that working together would be one of the best things for survival. After some time, he was finally tamed he became more disciplined and obedient. He eventually joined a military group, where nothing but trouble followed and the group crumbled. The remnants of the higher-ups fell. He'd seen a lot of his friends and fellow soldiers go down one by one. If it wasn't a battle, it was starvation, disease, an accident, suicide, or murder. The members of his previous squad that survived were teamed up with the Mentior clones. Most of the group was hesitant, some even aggressive toward the idea, being against cloning. Alan himself was against it. But, not having much choice- accept the help, or suffer the same fate as their comrades- the two teams worked together. He became the second-in-command after it was declared a man named Henrik Dirac would be the squad leader.
After working with the Mentior, he came to accept them. He grew quite fond of them, in fact. He and Himei had a relationship which no one could determine whether it was pure hate or simply friendly competition with the way they behaved toward each other. At times it seemed as if they would kill each other, other times they worked as if they've been friends for years. But the more the two kept up their rivalry infront of others, the easier it was, they believed, to hide some 'off-duty activities'. Not because they had feelings for each other, but as a form of escapism. After Dirac had died, Alan assumed the position of captain.
