Name: Kate Eileen (the Cloverleaf)
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Height: 5'5"
Race: Irish, Human
Skills: Thievery, lock-picking, prestidigitation (sleight-of-hand).
Abilities: Subconscious Psychocausality - Extreme (seemingly paranormal) amounts of 'good luck' at times. May be psionically induced, though no evidence for or against this hypothesis has ever been discovered.
Items/Possessions: Several lock-picking tools, a swiss army knife, one old gold coin, a deck of tarot cards, a pair of dice, an old and malfunctioning handheld radio, and a very old gatling gun with 77 rounds remaining.
Appearance:
Background: A true native of the nameless and ruined cityscape decimated over the years by war and disaster, Kate was raised by her older sister well after the End of Days for as long as she can remember. A father unknown and a mother who died giving birth to her, all indications pointed towards the deaths of these children. However, through hardship and dangers aplenty, they survived. It would seem that miracles would follow the pair regularly. Survival from (and at times, AMONG) scavengers, barely beating odds to find enough food and water to last until the next day, and the like weren't very uncommon. Luck, it would seem, truly favored these two young girls in this hellish environment. Or, at least, it favored the young Kate. Without word or warning, she lost her sibling in the collapse of a ruined building, the structure finally surrending it's crumbling frame to gravity moments after Kate had stepped away from it's shelter. Their home for the longest time had betrayed them.
That was three years ago. Kate now has drifted from one end of the shattered metropolis to the other, scrounging out a living with hardly any notable skills or abilities outside of her immense luck (with which she has managed to acquire her numerous 'treasures'). But it has managed to keep her going. A myriad of tales color her past, adding to her reservoir of experience... and scars.
